I didn't escape unscathed this week—all the Lord did was to put a tiny test in my life—which I instantly failed. And that was in itself a meta-lesson that spoke into the greater part of me that was still harbouring sin... The Spirit convicted me and I could not do anything but cry out and repent and acknowledge my depravity.

Yet I thank the Lord for always surrounding me with His people—oh-so-dear ones whom readily counsel, dispense wisdom, gently rebuke, graciously restore... With His personal grace and comfort, and His grace seen through them, I am on the road to recovery and growth.

God help us all.
