It was a long struggle being 'myself'. I can type a whole post here on the battle that I fought, lost, won, lost, won, lost, and eventually (somewhat) won... And will probably have to fight again some time soon. But it will be too convoluted, so I shall just share my moment of victory:
When I realised that putting away my desire to be what I wanted to be actually reveals who I am. And it's who God wants me to be—to put the interests of others before self. On some levels I think I did do well, on some, not so. But 'twas a good learning experience and I've gleaned much from this day. Does that make sense at all? Oh well.

O, for wisdom just to live.
