meekness: the courage to surrender and obey
This week is Spiritual Emphasis Week in school, and the P took us through 3 days of sermons from the sermon on the mount. Just the first 3 beatitudes, he said, is enough for us to attempt responding to. And what a message it was for me. It hit home in all the places and issues that I've been grappling with lately, and I feel... Blessed.
To remember where I once was, in my desperate need for forgiveness.
To grieve over sin even in its earliest stages—before it hits the dark side.
To surrender what God has gifted me with, and hand over the power of 'me' and instead reveal His glory.
May I never forget.
