It's a strange thing, a polemic response perhaps, from being un-grade conscious in poly days ("just have fun, never mind the grade") to today's "have serious fun, and do your best"... Yet in doing my best and achieving certain affirmations of that has in turn sparked a desire to collect more of those As that I once never saw.

Seems like the earthly view of results being proportionate to effort is still so prevalent in the earthly nature — not just in grades, but also in relationships, leadership, management... The tangible is often what we seek, yet is the tangible always the best measurement? Surely not.
