NSA'14

It's 7pm and it's the final day of working on the New Student Arrivals'. For me, at least. It's been a mad 2 weeks — full of administrative work, long hours, and much echoes of my previous job ring through. I'm tired, I'm sneezy; I'm wondering how I'm going to survive the upcoming 20-day road trip — wondering how much I've not done preparing for that; I'm thinking of my wedding service script for my best friend's wedding tomorrow.

But there's a deep peace and joy within. As I type (in the council room I now consider my fourth home), there's a worship session floating over from the room next door, and it is the same song that rang true last week, when I was feeling quite overwhelmed from all the details that were starting to look like squiggles to me onscreen.

This song most aptly describes this journey. At every juncture, when I asked, I received. God told me to do this, and this I did. So this, He provided. Every step of the way.

I'm almost done, and although I don't think I got everything together as perfectly as I wanted, I learnt that I can only do so much, with so much. But I'm thankful for all the help that I received. Every tiny bit, flawed as they may be, was much and perfect.

Thank You, Lord, for community. Thank You, Lord, for this moulding.
